I had a bad bad day at work! Things are not coming thru smoothly and was lectured by my boss. The saddest part is when he asked me "Are You Looking For A Way Out!!!".....How demotivating! The best part is, we just went for a training recently to groom ourselves to be a better manager/superior in handling our staff - showing empathy and be careful with our words when we manage our staff. Well, with the remark coming out from his mouth yesterday, it only shows that he's not a good listener, not a good preacher and definitely not a motivating leader!
So, feeling lousy and demotivated, i drove back to my home-sweet-home, worn out in terms of physical and mentally. I open the door and i can hear little tip toe-ing that my darling wife is trying to give me a surprise (Earlier, i send her a sms that i had a bad day at work, so i guess she wanted to cheer me up - I LOVE YOU, MY "TLOML" & THANK YOU FOR STANDING BY ME.
But halfway down the stairs, my baby started to giggle and it blow away the surprises. My wife walk up close to me, place baby down and the "REAL SURPRISE" hit me..........OMG, my baby WALK to me, he practically WALK TO ME! He reached my arms, STANDING NEXT TO ME, starred at my face, gave a lil' cheeky smile. The feeling is so great and happy. My boy, he's reached a new level again.
This blog is dedicated to my wife and baby......Thank you so much, you are the source of my life and energy.
We declare 29th May 08, Baby's Official Walking Day.......10 months, 3 weeks and 1 day old.

Baby Zen Almost 10 Months Old.
Time passes by so fast. First, i was single, then i was married, and then i had a nervous breakdown during my wife's labour and now my kid is already coming 10 months old.......Wooooa.
He's been growing up healthily, thank god for that. Hope it stays that way without any complications. He's already surpassed the stage on crawling and working on his "Standing Kung Fu" now.
But as for dada here, well.....things aren't that good for me. Zen Zen has been gaining weight and so does dada too :)
So, when ever he crawl over to me asking me to pick him up, well the knees will hurt. I think i got to do something about this problem.
Oh yeah! Whenever we let Zen crawl around, i would go to the kitchen to take a drink, Zen would crawl and follow me....so cute and sweet. And when i come out from the kitchen to go to the living room, Zen would follow too......Wow! that would really melt your heart and makes you want to pick him up and give him lots and lots of kisses.
Dada signing off.

First Step To Independence
The cutest thing happened last night. After the usual dinner at mom's place and coming back to my own place, "The Chosen One" (My wifey) wanted to take a shower first before attending to "The Wise One"(BB Zen) to put him to sleep.
So, "The Great Wise One" have to temporary take care of "The Wise One" first. "The Chosen One" prepared some milk for me to feed "The Wise One". So, i happily played with him first and then started placing him on the bed and feeding him the milk.
As usual, i need to help him (Holding the bottle) to feed him the milk...... he manage to hold the bottle on his own and started to "Whallop" the milk. Wow! i am really impressed. 70% of the time, he is holding the bottle on his own, to my surprise, hey 30% of the time i need to help to adjust his posture and bottle angle to ensure he doesn't choke. He completed the last drop of the milk on his own.
Tears nearly run down my cheek, for during that moment........my son have started his first step of independence.
These are one of those moments that i looked forward to, whenever i came back from a long day at work to see my darling wife and precious lil BB Zen and proud to be his dada.

First Posting In Da House
Ok, i am in a dilema.......it's been officially six months i had my kid (Ok, i am a bit slow and been procastinating about setting my blog) and only now i decided to share with you all my joys and pain (Headache and body pain) for having my first born.
To kick-start and introducing myself first, i am a 34 year old whacky character guy who is an optimistic, happy go-lucky guy who use to flirt with all girls, be they young or old, beauty or beast, vision 20-20 or the blind (Some friends can attest to this statement, really.....). Used to be known as the "Aunty Killer" as well. But nowadays, i am been downgraded to "Mossie-Killer" and shove aside to the cold storage, while my lil bundle of joy have overthrown me to the throne, being the "Lui Sat Saou" or better known as "Lady Killer".
Well, i am proud to be a dad especially when my kid was born on 7th-July-07 (070707). I can still remember clearly that the doctor have projected that our son will be born on the 13th July 07 (Friday Da 13th...horrors!). But on the early mornings of 7th July, my wife began to have signs of bleeding and minor contractions. Since we attended the pre-natal class, we had the knowledge to keep cool and start preparing my "Dahling" wife to go for medical checkup. First, she took a good and long shower, then we went for a good breakfast, follow with driving to the petrol kiosk to pump full tank, went to a bakery to buy some breads and cakes and send her to the clinic at 3.40pm.
When the doctor conducted his check on my wife (With the blinds closed), i suddenly heard a "Pop" sound and saw a lot of water flowing down to the floor. The nurse were rushing to get a lot of tissues to wipe of the liquid. Then, the doctor walked to me and advise me to send my wife to the hospital (SJMC) immediately.
Since, we have pre-registered to SJMC, we have skipped the hassle of the queeing up for registration of admission. Wifey was admitted around 4.20pm.
So, wifey was admitted to a labour room and strap on some tracking gadgets to monitor baby's heartbeat. Whenever my wife have a contraction, the baby's heartbeat will drop to an abnormal rate (Less than "90" rate, normal is around 125) and this continues.
I tried to be strong infront of my wife all the time, trying to crack jokes and tried to cheer her up, knowing that she is very worried over the heartbeat problem. In actual fact, i was also very worried myself and panicked too. Luckily, Star Wars was on the telly and i manage to pull some jokes and divert some of the worries.
I waited till around 8.40pm and i can't control my panic state anymore and excuse myself from the room giving the excuse that i need to have my dinner. So, i went to a nearby mamak store and try to keep my composure. During this time, i really needed someone to talk to and release my stress. I called up a close friend and told my friend my worries and cried at my table (I think i scared some people who sit infront of my table). I told myself to keep cool but i just can't caused i was so worried for both my wife and my baby's condition. After the emotional conversation, i felt much better. So, i went back to my wife's room and continue to stay with her, in a fresh state and in a cheerful mood.
Time really passes by really slow during that moment and each tickling of the clock makes us more worried. I saw my wife in pain, and whenever she has a contraction, baby's heartbeat still remain the same..........still drop to "90". I prayed in my heart for the safety for mummy and baby.
At 11.00pm, doctor came in (Since afternoon to 10pm, the doctor did called up frequently to the nurses to check on my wife to keep him inform of the status) and told us that it is not normal for the drop of the baby's heartbeat for every contraction. Furthermore my wife's dilation still remain at 3cm and not suitable for natural labour. Our doctor gave us 2 options, one is to go for cesaerion and immediately check on baby's condition and should there be any complication, they can work out something as soon as possible. Second option is to continue to wait and continue to monitor the condition on both mummy and baby. We made a quick decision for cesaerion, fearing for our unborn child's health and safety. I was also very worried for my wife's safety as well and wanted to reduce her pain and mental torture on both of us.
Doctor immediately made the arrangement for the operation room. My wife was taken in, i wanted to join her to give her the support that she desperately need from a husband and father of our child. Doctor declined my request fearing that i may not be able to take it when he start "cutting open" my wife. So, he advice me to wait patiently at the waiting room.
Tick! Tick! Tick! Tick!!.................
